This 1980 (in my personal strike zone, Freshman year in college) amazing song, charted twice. Hitting No. 11 in 1980 and No. 20 in 1989. Always a very favorite song of mine. I have a great affection for many, many, one-hit wonders, but I guess that is why they had the one hit. Stupid little story here. I began my love of music, as we have discussed, buying eight tracks. This was the first album I wanted that was not released on eight track. It forced me to then flip to vinyl, revamping my music collection to discs. I often played DJ at parties with my collection.
The evening of March 21, 2026, was wonderful! I don’t have many stories except for the fact that I saw so many great friends. I am sad that I missed a few that were there (too much going on), sad that I missed those that could not make it, sad that I couldn’t spend enough time with some, but thrilled to have been there!
It was just so heartwarming seeing so many friends that I support (and who reciprocate to me) virtually, in the flesh. I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Firstly a beautiful gown… breathtakingly gorgeous. The only thing more beautiful was the person inside it. When I realized Kandi was at Keystone and someone at our table indulged me in getting to meet her I was over the moon. Not often in life you get to meet someone you read and look up to but even less often do you realize that person is as nice and beautiful both in appearance as well as a person. Thanks again for being so nice to me. It was one of the highlights of Angie’s life. ❤️
