You know what’s wild? I’m blessed to be walking around in this beautiful 55+ paradise, retired or semi-retired, supposedly above the drama… and yet somehow we’ve imported high school cafeteria gossip straight into our golf cart community.
I got the skinny from a friend who’s known me for five years. Apparently there was a little whisper campaign about yours truly. The usual greatest hits: assumptions, side-eye, stories that definitely didn’t come from any actual conversation with me.
My friend’s response?
👉“Have you actually asked Gwen or spoken to Gwen at all?”
Crickets. 🦗Every single time.
It’s like we’re all starring in Mean Girls: Golden Years Edition. “On Wednesdays we wear pastels and spread rumors based on cable news.”
Look, I get it. The world is polarized AF. People come here from every corner of the country and the globe, bringing their own baggage, news feeds, and life experiences. And yeah, I’m the only visibly transgender person in this slice of heaven.
Most folks are genuinely pleasant to my face — and I appreciate that. But that small contingent running on second-hand fear and “I saw it on the internet” assumptions?
They’re out here treating me like I’m the villain in a Netflix true-crime doc.
👍Here’s the part that actually matters: miscommunication is the gasoline, and media outrage is the match.🔥
The algorithm doesn’t get paid when you read “Trans person lives quietly, pays HOA fees on time, and just wants to barbecue with neighbors.”
It gets paid when it serves you the most unhinged, click-baity garbage imaginable.
Pedophiles, groomers, bathroom panic — rinse, repeat, profit. Meanwhile the vast majority of us trans folks (I talk to thousands every year) are just trying to blend in, be decent neighbors, pay taxes, and not die of boredom during another 7am pickleball game.
🏳️⚧️We’re not a monolith of monsters. We’re humans who want the same ridiculous retirement dreams as everyone else: grandkids, decent wine, and someone to complain about the weather with.
Direct communication fixes 90% of this nonsense. My friend’s simple question — “Have you talked to them?” — is revolutionary in 2026.
BIG IDEA 🤯 Because once you actually speak to someone, the cartoon version in your head usually evaporates. You realize we all hate the same HOA rules, love the same sunsets, and have the same fears about Medicare and our knees giving out.
We have way more in common than the things that divide us. Different politics, different backgrounds, different journeys? Sure. But we’re all just fleshy meat computers trying to navigate a confusing world without too many dents.
So next time you hear some wild story about “those people” — whoever “those people” are in your mind today — maybe hit pause. Ask the actual human. You might discover they’re not so different after all.
Or at the very least, we can all agree the real enemy is whoever keeps scheduling meetings during happy hour.
Who’s with me on dialing down the gossip and turning up the actual conversations? Drop a 💬 if you’ve ever had assumptions blow up in your face after actually talking to someone.
Let’s normalize being decent humans again.

Protons, Neutrons and Morons…
The universe is made up of protons, neutrons, and freaking morons.
Protons and neutrons are busy holding atoms together like responsible adults.
Meanwhile, the morons are out here arguing that pineapple belongs on pizza, that 2+2 is a social construct and racist, and that the government is hiding free energy in Area 51.
Me? I’m just trying to keep my electrons from spinning out of control while the rest of the species face-plants into the periodic table of questionable decisions.
I get it — my life choice as a Transgender Goddess 😂 isn’t everyone’s sip of espresso. However, I’m very happy, funny, and considerate of all who gravitate into my orbit.
Sure, my gravitational pull is too much for most, so they keep their distance. It’s like I’m a black hole and they’re afraid of crossing the event horizon and getting sucked in. Those who have dared? They realized I’m a mirror ball of positive, authentic energy and good vibes — and they’re glad they did.
Now, don’t be silly and think I’m calling everyone a moron. Most people are simply stuck in the cage they’ve built around themselves since birth, which limits their imagination of what they could be. To them, I hope they break out and become all they’re destined to be.
The true morons don’t know they’re morons — and are simply unable to conceptualize that fact. To them, I wish well… from a safe distance. I’ve already jettisoned them from my orbit.
Stay charged, folks. The morons are multiplying. ⚛️😭”

This is a Babylon Bee-style spoof. Don’t take it too seriously. Maybe. 🤔

Your Trans Truth Is Already Inside You
Can I be blunt?
I’m not here to tell you what to do.

I’m here to remind you of something powerful:
You already have the answers. A coach knows this. Their job is to draw out what’s inside of you already.
Transition is a major life decision. It touches your body, your mind, your relationships, your career, and your future. That’s why the most important work happens long before any hormones or surgeries — it happens inside you. This is what I discuss in my book Trans Truth. Available on Amazon and Audible. Just search my name.
You are already fully resourced.
However, you just have to be willing to listen. She’s whispering to you.
Ask yourself these questions (and sit with them honestly):
1. Am I truly willing to explore these feelings without rushing to a conclusion even if what I find is difficult?
2. How does it feel when I step just a little outside my comfort zone? Do I panic? Anxiety? Comfortable?
3. What do I actually want to experience today — not five years from now?
4. Am I willing to take small, consistent steps instead of forcing a giant leap?
5. Could I still be happy if full medical transition isn’t the right path for me?
6. If I decide full transition is necessary for my peace, am I prepared to do the real inner and outer work it requires?
There are no right or wrong answers — only what’s right for you.
This process takes time. Sometimes it means revisiting childhood feelings. Sometimes it means trying things on (literally and figuratively) and paying attention to what feels true versus what feels like pressure. Trial and error isn’t failure — it’s data.
If you decide to transition, the goal isn’t just to change your body. It’s to bring your mind and your body into the same truth before you make permanent changes. The last thing anyone wants is to wake up on the other side of a major decision and realize they followed someone else’s map.
This is especially critical for younger people. Take your time. Talk to parents. Speak with multiple experienced professionals. Don’t let social media, groupthink, or online applause make the decision for you. This is the rest of your life.
You already carry decades of experience, intelligence, and resilience inside you. Trust that. Use it. Be proud of every honest answer you discover and every small step you take.
Dare to pursue your own truth journey — not the one the internet is selling, not the one anyone else expects of you
Yours.
You’ve got everything you need.
It’s already inside.
