Cleveland will always be a special place for me. After two days with Kandi, I was able to finish the weekend with a Sunday evening dinner with Sherry.
My plan was to wear skirt, blouse and heels. BUT the extremely cold, windy, snowy weather killed that plan.
Leggings, sweater, scarf and running shoes were Plan B (Editorial comment: I happen to be Sherry’s perpetual Plan B!). I put on a skirt to show some sort of femininity. I also wore earrings that had a bit of a “dangle”. I hadn’t done that before, and I loved it. Every time I moved my head the earrings jangled. It was great. They kept hitting my neck reminding me that I was a woman.
Sherry and I agreed to meet in Chagrin Falls, a gorgeous town east of Cleveland, and go to an Italian restaurant. I would have loved to explore the town but the blizzard made sure that didn’t happen.
We had a great time catching up with each other since we last met a year ago. It was wonderful to share life experiences with a dear friend. There is nothing better than two ladies chatting during wine and dinner. The waitstaff were great and we were totally accepted.
The evening ended with a big hug. Then a trudge through the snow to our vehicles.
Love you Sherry
