What A Great Friend

By Jocelyn Johnson

It has been seven months since I was able to present my feminine side. My home situation prevents any activity now.

But a trip to Cleveland, and on to Florida gives me the perfect opportunity to feel wonderful. Unfortunately Cleveland was cold, snowy, drizzly, and windy. How can a woman enjoy wearing heels while trodding through 4” of snow; yuk! And long hair blowing all over.

Therefore my clothing selection was fairly moderate.

While in Cleveland I had dinner Saturday evening with my very good friend Kandi. It had been a year since I had a Kandi hug, oh so special.

The evening went as expected. Great conversation, tasty food, and wine. A glass for me and a few for KR. It is so natural for two ladies to be out in a restaurant and enjoying each other’s company. Ms. Robbins is a treasure and a true friend.

Before we parted Kandi took a selfie of us. As we looked at the resulting photo Kandi commented about how young I looked. A very kind comment, but made after glasses of wine!

Another hug, and a promise to meet the next day for fun in downtown Cleveland.

The photos show me in my hotel room before venturing out. The heels did not leave the room.

My planned outfit was toned down because of cold and snow. What’s a woman to do? Although Kandi looked fabulous. She is so beautiful. See her February 17 post.

My next post will be about my trip to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Love to everyone.

    1. Thanks Marie.
Kandi is an exceptional person. I feel I can confide anything with her.

  2. What can I say other than it’s nice to see two of my favourite people together again and you Jocelyn in a skirt 🤭❤️. What a lovely way to start my day.

    Love you both,
    Trish

    1. Trish,
It is so great to hear from you. Thanks for brightening my day.

Skirt – Jocelyn, they just don’t fit in the same sentence, NOT. I just love the feel and look of a skirt. This is the first time I wore this one. Rather “girly” I think. And with a bit of leg show.

      Keep warm dear friend.

      Love,
      Jocelyn
