Living My Life-ish

Out.

We’re back with an attitude adjustment and a new look on life. Just wait until you see what I have been up to.

July 2, 2025, just back from a three-day trip to Tennessee for a sales meeting. As I recently indicated, I am doing anything and everything to be me. To that point, I wore a comfortable dress and went about my day. Errands to the bank, drug store and then to the library to work for a while. I got quite a bit accomplished and then headed to a local shopping area because I simply wanted to walk around somewhere on a lovely day, in my dress. I really did not want to buy anything, but the Francesca’s Clearance Sale sign beckoned me. There I picked up the most spectacular faux leather dress for $10 and hit a Happy Hour for a couple of $5 Margaritas. I returned home, cleaned off my makeup and spent the balance of the day in a cute hoodie and leggings, all girl except my face, made dinner and spent the evening with my wonderful wife. It was grounding just going about a day as any woman would.

July 3, 2025, a dud of a Kandi day after a very productive not-Kandi day. I had set up a meeting with someone I though may have promise to work with on my apparel line. All I will say is I wasted my time. A delightful fellow, but I was happy to conclude our meeting. Then what? I hit two LGBT friendly bars and had a drink in each. Lovely time, but with the exception of the exceptional bartender at Twist, no one paid me any mind. Funny, I almost always have fellow patron interchange at any and every “straight” bar and/or restaurant I am in, but at “gay bars”, almost never. Odd. The day wrapped up at Target, trying on a few things because again, I did not want to turn back into a pumpkin.

Anyhoo, I did a fabulouso photoshoot downtown on my way to the meeting in a dress that got me a few compliments by people literally walking past me on the street (I also roamed around a lot). This dress deserved every bit of love she got!
