This was my first time doing a volunteering double header since the plague settled upon us. On June 19, 2022, I did an ushering shift for the North Coast Men’s Chorus and that evening worked a fashion show at The Cleveland Museum of Art!
This was my first time back with the chorus since February, 2020. It was nice to see so many familiar faces, get many hugs and renew some acquaintances. My time there was brief, a little over an hour as I served as one of two main greeters for the show. Once everyone was seated and the show began, my day was done.
Not one to miss the opportunity to shoot some selfies in an interesting location, on a bright sunny day to boot, I hit the adjacent local high school football practice field and relived some of my gridiron days! Okay, not really. Yes I did play, but not often and certainly not like this!!
Next stop was lunch at a favorite eatery. The close up selfie above was taken at the bar. The weather was wonderful, the place crowded and my lunch and a few beers, great!
Now I was fueled up and ready for the Fashion Talks show!
This was a particularly great time. I got so many compliments! I saw a few friends and made a few more. I met a local singer and her manager and she asked me to be in her upcoming music video and she also invited me to an upcoming concert as her guest! She even texted me a few times the next day. That was so sweet!!
A long day, a few different stops and fun everywhere I went. I really do enjoy these twin bills!
Check out our latest video, it’s not perfect, but it’s all I can do by myself!
