Can’t Get You Out of My Head

La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

This wonderful song by Kylie Minogue, from 2001, speaks to me in terms of my mental relationship between me and Kandi, Kandi and me. I made one slight lyrical alteration below…

I just can’t get you out of my head
Boy (girl), your lovin’ is all I think about
I just can’t get you out of my head
Boy (girl), its more than I dare to think about

There’s a dark secret in me
Don’t leave me locked in your heart
Set me free
Feel the need in me
Set me free
Stay forever and ever, and ever, and ever

La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

Kandi, can’t EVER get you out of my head!

On October 8, 2026, another glorious Autumn day, I met what was a Facebook friend and who is now a real-world friend! As you have heard from this horse’s mouth, I adore Fall fashions and this outfit crushed it!

Colleen and I met at a Bob Evans for a late lunch. She transitioned years ago and was just an easy conversation for me. I appreciate her friendship and I am sure we’ll get together again.

Then I boogied across town for another fashion show rehearsal. I had a quick cocktail at a favorite place (seems like I have quite a few of those) and as usual, had some light and delightful chit chat with a patron or two.

Rehearsal itself was fun, but what was the best thing for me was the amazing acceptance I get. These people now have seen me four times, always dressed well and they notice. And they complement me and they tell me they admire my fashion sense. And I LOVE that! I would estimate there were at least 25 people there and me, the only Caucasian there. And quite comfortable. And very appreciated and accepted. Just so wonderful!

I am pretty pleased with the photos taken this day.

Juror #7

My first movie hits the silver screen!

That’s me!! My first movie shoot! My first movie credit! Seeing myself on the big screen for the first time! I actually had two roles in this movie. Juror #7 in a murder trial. I am in the first few minutes of the movie. I also played a wedding attendee. I am then in the final few minutes of the movie. Estimated screen time less that a minute. But I am in a movie!!

June 12, 2022 was the premier of “Trapped“. It was so much fun. I saw some of my friends and fellow actors. I saw people that knew me from other movies. I saw friends from the local fashion community. My friend Kathy was there, she got the line I missed when I went to the ladies room. Oh well…..

The red carpet was indoors, not that big, but for me it was amazing! I went all out in my presentation, with this lovely size 6 (sorry, I had to say that) LBD and I am starting to like being a brunette again.

I took a lot of pictures, they tell the story better than I could. After the movie, a few of my co-stars and their husbands and I went out for dinner. This whole experience made me so very happy!

Enjoy Every Sandwich!
