The North Coast Men’s Chorus held their summer concerts at Playhouse Square which featured Nina West, from RuPaul’s Drag Race. We had two very large crowds.
June 1, 2024, now where where we? Got up, dressed, shot some pictures, drove downtown, attended Pride, drove home, got cleaned up, cut the lawn, got cleaned up, dressed, shot some pictures, drove downtown and met friends for dinner prior to my volunteer shift. Again, no big stories to tell. Dinner with great friends. Saw so many other friends at the show, so many so that I never did the job I was there to do. It was a great big hug-a-thon! All the photos but one are prior to my leaving home. The one with someone else is my great friend Shelley!
My wife was attending our daughter’s bridal shower in Chicago for the weekend, so I took advantage of the run of the house.
June 2, 2024 I woke up and went right about getting dressed, as any woman would to begin their day. I did an extended photo shoot on a grey day prior to heading out the door.
I then headed to church. Stopped and did a little grocery shopping on the way. Services were wonderful as always. Hugs, sat with friends, argued sports with a friend who doesn’t see me for my dress, sees me as me. I really love that place! A little shopping at the mall to kill some time., then off to “work”. I am now know at Playhouse Square, so I get hugs from security people there.
I actually did my job this time, selling wine raffle tickets, but again saw so many friends, caught up with some I had not seen for a very long time.
I just floated all day in this dress, felt so comfortable, so right. All-in-all, a wonderful weekend!
