It was time for our monthly MIX event at The Cleveland Museum of Art, November 7, 2025. Without boring you with details, it was the first MIX in at least six months where a giant indoor building was not in front of me for a special exhibit. That building dramatically changed foot traffic patterns. With the regular footprint and a brand-new Renaissance fashion exhibit, I was in full display to the entire sellout crowd. EVERYONE wanted to see the exhibit and therefore EVERYONE had to walk past me. And I dressed for the part.

The whole evening was tremendous. I saw friend after friend, many sought me out to get a hug. I made many new friends. I was surrounded by people who wanted to be near or around me the entire evening. My favorite posse of BFF, Karen and Jennifer were there. It was Sherry’s first time at MIX and I do believe she enjoyed herself. Person after person, time after time, compliment after compliment, smile after smile, all evening long. It was a tremendous evening!

A little comment on my outfit. I was screwing around on Shein some time ago and bought three dresses. When will I learn you get what you pay for? I really did not like the dress and was going to donate it, but then I heard about the upcoming Renaissance exhibit. Problem (as if it was a problem) solved! A vintage necklace given to me by a friend, new block heel shoes picked up brand-new for $5 and the needed bow belt to break the dress up a bit and lend me a bit of a figure and here is what we looked like.

True friends.
November 9, 2025 I went to the Vintage Fest at Cleveland’s IX Center. Really zero story outside of a fabulous piece of 80’s lingerie and an adorbs little 80’s dress I picked up. People were kind as always with one vendor loving my necklace stack. That was a new thing for me and I LOVED it!

As I’ve said a million times, it is simply nice to be out.
I came home and was remined why I have tried not to go to Erie (thanks BFF to goading me into it and then…) or Keystone. Outfit assembly and packing is laborious. I do not enjoy it at all. I love getting dressed, I hate taking it on the road. I love being at Erie or Keystone, I hate going there (and back). But I do it for friends.
