Now that was fun! August 22, 2025, lil’ ol’ me walked a fashion show again! What thrills me to no end is that I get to do these mainstream things, am treated like a woman and no one treats me anything but amazing! Yes, I love and participate in events for our community, but to step outside of that and be accepted without thought is so wonderful. I’m one lucky gal!
I walked a vintage (an actual piece of the museum) Hawaiin stewardess uniform, most likely circa 1960’s. These shows are all about inclusion, me, my lovely friend and internationally known model Olivia, and ladies of every age and race.
I was there from about 4:30 until I met up with Sherry and Jen at around 9:00. No real story, but some wonderful memories I will share here with you. I was over-the-moon with my own outfit this day.

Kandi, the strapless dress is fantastic and looks great with the pink shawl. Flight attendant uniforms are so interesting to look at and see the different colors and styles each airline had in prior years. And I’m glad to see Sherry as well, those smiles are infectious!
