Filled With Gratitude

I am one very, lucky girl!

September 27, 2025, was a day I was totally in girl mode. I played pickleball in the morning and then raced home to get my girl on. Along the way home, I stopped at a garage sale, which was posted in Facebook as a “very girly sale’. I walk up (not Kandi) and start asking about the wigs (there were many) and a leopard skin fur vest I also bought. I told her what dress I planned on wearing it with and showed her a picture from the prior evening. They don’t know me, nor did I really care, which made it a wonderful interaction. Then I got dressed casually and went to the mall. I knew Victoria’s Secret and PINK were having bra and panty sales. I went to both and interacted greatly with the staff, discussing bra size and fit, the best way to wear it, trying on one after another. I called for a fit check on the three bras I ended up getting. I wanted to get a black Bombshell strapless bra and a few that I could wear daily now, given the cooler weather, allows me to essentially be in full bra and panties 24/7. The joy of drying off after a shower, walk into the closet and pick out my lingerie for the day. Picking them out, always matching, is so deeply feminine and affirming. Having the SAs come into my dressing room again, so affirming. This little adventure landed in the middle of two consecutive HRC events, coming to a blog near you soon.

As an aside, I had to leave once I made the bra selection because I was out of time and had to get ready for the evening’s event. So, I was unable to purchase the panties that matched my new bras. Well, I went back the next day, in guy mode, and openly talked about matching my bras, answering as to what my size is, thanking the SA for all of her great help, then in girl mode, now in boy mode. And when asked “Are these a gift?”, without thought I said they were for me.

Here was your girl this day! She is indeed the luckiest girl alive!!

In addition to the blog here, I maintain a Facebook and a Flickr page. I posted the above photos and did what I do when posting new photos, I edit out pictures that have not been favorited enough. Basically, allowing my Flickr page to be edited by the general public by “voting” for the best pictures. This is done also to prevent too many photos and me having to pay for the page once I reach a certain threshold. I would let it lapse if I had to do so. That said, it allows me to look back at all the photos complied there over the years. I say this with the ultimate humility possible. I am incredibly proud of who I am. I am incredibly proud of how I present myself to the world. I am beyond proud of those associations I have fostered for the sole reason that I put myself out there, being the woman I feel in my heart of hearts.

If you are bored, take a look at the best of Kandi over the years!
