For the past couple of years, I have relied on taping to reduce wrinkles and appear younger. It is a technique that really works but one must be careful on how much tension is applied and then to hide the tapes under the wig.
For me it has worked wonders! The first preparation for my week at Keystone is to pluck every single facial hair. There is not to much because a lot was eliminated with laser. However, it takes me almost two hours to complete the process, which is no longer painful because I have been doing it for years. I do sneeze a lot while doing it, though. With no need to shave throughout the week, I basically clean my face in the morning, apply taping in the right places. It is advisable to use some skin protection liquid, like nuskin, where the tapes will be attached. The next step is to apply primer and then I contour my face with powder (no makeup base at all). Taping, primer and powder produce a natural look! Eyes and lips are done as always and the last, and most difficult step, is to put on fake lashes. So, there it is, the secret to why many of you have told me that I look younger! Heck, if real women cheat, why can’t we do the same?
For those who do not know about taping and are interested, you can find different tutorials on Youtube and taping kits on Amazon.
Now, on to the story related to this image and all the photos taken on the last day (Saturday) at Keystone. Basically, that morning, I pulled the tape on my right forehead too much, causing my right eye to look more stretched than the left (specially when smiling). In this photo it is more evident than in others, but if you look carefully, I have asymmetrical eyes in each of the pics from that day.

Which do you like better, the angry boss or the happy boss?

One Response
Helpful and relatable. I’ve never tried taping, but now I’m honestly curious! Love how open you are about your routine (and your little mishap too—been there, girl).
And I feel like the only acceptable answer to that is: both. Both “happy boss” and “angry boss”. Yes, both is good!
