You Are Not Regressing — You Are Integrating

A Dysphoria Hacks Tactical Method

Always remember:
👉You’re not failing the process.
💪You are the process.

A common fear I hear is:
“Some days I feel less feminine. Am I going backwards?”

No.
You’re integrating.

In the Marines, identity shifts don’t happen in straight lines. Confidence fluctuates. Skills consolidate quietly. Progress often looks invisible from the inside.

Feminine embodiment works the same way.
Some days your nervous system allows softness.
Some days it needs structure.
Both are correct.

Trying to force femininity on days your system wants safety will increase dysphoria — not reduce it.

The work isn’t to perform femininity.

The work is to create conditions where femininity feels safe to emerge.

Safety first. Always.

Your Mission Today:

Notice what your body wants today:
softness?
structure?
rest?
movement?

Honor it without judgment.

You’re not failing the process.
You are the process.

And if you ever feel unsure what honoring your body looks like, guided support is available — gently, without pressure.

She’s got your six.

  1. Gwen,
Yes we do get days like that but then women do too .

To add to the story recently I decided to fit a relacement reversing sensor on my Volvo , it was an easy enough job but meant scrambling under the back of the car . Still had makeup on and wig with a pair of old jeans and well worn sweater , felt quiet pleased with myself that it went fairly easliy BUT the sensors worked but no sound came from the system . I then realised my entertainment system had failed again , last time it was affected by heavy interior valeting , my garage fiddled with the plugs under the driver’s seat but suggested he obtain a relpacement through Ebay . So when I arrived home I checked the plugs again and then blew a hairdryer onto it for a few minutes , the sound system came back to life ! I tried this fix again but this time no joy so after checking Youtube videos I decided to attempt the remove the unit which meant unbolting the drivers seat to access the unit . I was having a minor identity crisis , the male part knew I could do it but the female part said what the **** are you doing , take it to the garage !!! Either because I’m tight with money or I chose to listen to the male voice I tackled the job . The seat came out easily to reveal the unit which again came out with the removal of three bolts , so now my old training kicked in , I took the unit apart to expose the printed circuit board . For many years I manufactured or repaired electronic equipement , so I knew the obvious signs of damage to look for , sure enough under magnification and bright light I found a fine tracery of solder on parts of the board , I’m wondering if the unit was faulty from the start . I carefully removed the debris and checked out the board for burnouts and dry joints , then gave it a good clean , checked the input sockets and tried the unit back in the car before replacing the PC casing . Job done it worked fine , the very pleased female gave her male part a pat on the back !

Well at 75 I’m not regressing as much as I thought I had , I’ve said several times that transgender people are lucky because we have greater depth of knowledge and abilities , they are there to be used so don’t be frightened to use them and try and ignore the dysphoria . The great bonus is the repair didn’t cost me anything apart from a reversing sensor from Ebay so now I have spare money to please the girl in me !
