Pickleball Beach

Being.

October 1, 2025, it was pickleball Wednesday. The weather was spectacular for October, low 70’s. The beach is about 3 miles from where I play pickleball, which is about a 40-minute drive from our home. So why not have a doubleheader! Two birds, one stone. That morning, in all my male grubbiness, I went clearance bikini shopping at Target and picked up a cute suit. But I should not have purchased the bottom, it is low rise cheeky, which given my little belly right now, did not work. But the top was sublime! I substituted another bottom, which wasn’t perfect, but worked for this day.

After watching our Guardians beat the Tigers to force a Game Three (also after forgetting the game was on until the seventh inning), I headed across town. Now, let me tell you, 72 degrees in July is very different than 72 in October at the beach, on the lake. But I was able to lay out and relax for about 45 minutes before I changed and headed to the courts. No really significant stories here, but I will reiterate, which I have said time and again here, there is simply nothing better than walking around in a bikini, in public, without issue. Anytime I am dressed and out, I always reflect on what a gift that is, what a privilege it is for me.

I cannot speak to this because I am not biologically female, but this was as close as I can imagine to feeling physically like a woman. Without going into great detail, I also developed a taping methodology that allowed be to look female top and bottom while remaining functional (I have taped in a dysfunctional manner, which means there is an expiration time before I have to answer Nature’s call). What I did, if you told me 10 years ago about it, I would have bristled at the expected discomfort/pain. I felt completely right and also played pickleball (a lot of physical activity) that way, never once thinking about it until smiling as I used the restroom. TMI? Maybe.

I am extremely proud of these pictures.

  1. Kandi,
    OMG, you look fabulous.

On behalf of the World, let me thank you for the privilege of seeing you. You are a gift to all of us.

I bet the other sunbathers couldn’t take their eyes off you. The best looking woman on the beach.

    Love you,
    Jocelyn

PS – Blue Jays are doing OK!

    1. You may have noticed no one in the beach shots, so unfortunately, I did not get much of an opportunity to drive people away!

You are far too kind. Go Jays!!

  2. Kandi, looks like you keep yourself in very good shape. You look fantastic in your swimming suit. You are a very pretty woman.

    Julie
