This 1978 song by Cheryl Lynn is just a treat! Always makes me smile. Significant contributors to this song were young David Foster, who went on to be huge in song production and David Paich, who helped found the very successful band, Toto.
What you find, ah
(I think I love you, baby)
What you feel now
(I feel I need you, baby)
What you know-ah
To be real
Ooh, your love’s for real now
You know that your love is my love
My love is your love
Our love is here to stay
What you find-ah
What you feel now
What you know-ah
To be real
A full girl day for yours truly, September 18, 2026. Anchored by a dress rehearsal at the end of the day for Pandemonium, I made the best of this day!
We began the day handling a task (I so hate work… 😉) pulling together four “self” looks for the upcoming fashion show. In each scene/walk, we wear a look we put together ourselves. The scenes are Western, lingerie, white and black. These are the photos I took and submitted for consideration. They are not completed looks, just working ideas until I get approval.

After submitting these photos, the black and white were approved as seen here, the Western will be done with jeans and cowgirl boots (a cowgirl hat will also be provided) and the boudoir shot above in the black will be recreated.

Once I had that great pleasure of assembling and shooting those looks, I headed out the door, to 78th Street Studios’ Third Friday. This is a regular stop for me. I spent the bulk of the time there visiting my lovely friend and artist Jackie. Just such a warm and loving human being and I am honored to be her friend!

The rest of the evening was spent at rehearsal, with nothing of particular note, and then a beer at the local pub before heading home. I was so happy to be me this day!

To be real

Yours truly being an audience participant for the dress rehearsal of the performance done in the house I am managing.
