Experiences: The Cleveland International Film Festival 2026 – Monday and Tuesday

I continue my love of 70’s one-hit wonders (even though Jay technically had two solo hits and a few others in various bands). He also hit with Shakedown Cruise solo; Run, Run, Run, by Jo Jo Gunn; and I Got a Line on You with Spirit. It’s another stop in my tracks and listen song, another one that mentally puts me in a time and place from my youth.

As per usual, that has nothing to do with this. We begin our full calendar week at CIFF, Monday April 13, 2026, and Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The ability to be seen in public in multiple outfits, over the course of a long stretch of time is a true gift.

On Monday, I was at another off-site event, this time celebrating a film on cheese mongering at a cheese store. Again, simply a delightful experience, people chatting me up the entire time.

On the way there, I ran some simple errands, one of which was at the post office. The woman behind the counter could not have been sweeter to me! Just the simplest things bring me such joy.

It was a warm day, perfect for this little dress! I still notice how absolutely comfortable I am dressed like this, never really thinking that I am actually in a dress. This never gets old.

Tuesday was my only opening shift, a very uneventful day. Still there were wonderful moments and so many kind people. More than once, simply walking down the street, my outfit was complimented. Kinda nice, ya’ know?

Peace of Mind, the Holy Grail of Life. 

I hope to achieve it even for a few moments before I depart this world.
