A Cold and Snowy Ohio Day

By Sherry Greer

You’ve seen me write this before…Kandi always wants me to write more about the opportunities that I have but I won’t write a post unless I have some passion about it. The last six months have been hectic with selling my house, packing everything up, and planning the new house and finally moving in. Time to get out has been limited but I did manage to get out a few times. I went out to dinner with Kandi, another friend, the Lake Erie Gala and A Very Sherry Xmas party. I enjoyed myself immensely and rekindled old relationships and made a few more.

Now that I’m in my new house I have more time to enjoy who I am.

On January 3rd Kandi and I made plans to go out and eventually decided to get dinner. As the day went on Kandi was hoping to wrap up a business project and the snowstorm was making driving hazardous. As it turned out she actually had another business need pop up making her ability to go out impossible and the weather conditions deteriorated more so we didn’t go out.

I decided to get ready anyway and experimented with my hair and makeup. I put on some comfy clothes and stayed that way from the afternoon until going to bed. My wife and I had dinner and watched movies as the snow kept falling outside. My wife has seen me many times but just to critique my outfit and look as I walk out the door. This was different, I was Sherry for hours and she was totally fine with it. We did everything we usually do and there was no issue whatsoever. I was so happy and felt totally accepted and loved for me! Her lack of a reaction was a huge statement and one that makes me love her even more ❤️. Hope you like the pictures!

Stay beautiful, Sherry

  1. Sherry,
Your’e so lucky finding a wonderful compromise with your wife , it sounds as if the house move was what you both needed . Sadly my wife didn’t have the same vision , there was no compromise but it all also changed when I made my house move . Double adged at first as it was also the end on my marriage , now I have many friends without any compromises , it’s so good you caught up with old friends but a shame you missed out on Kandi .

Dressing to the nines isn’t always practical when the weather turns bad , curling up by the fire with someone you love is very special .

  2. Sherry,
Great to hear from you again.

I love your casual look. You look so comfortable.

It is so nice to hear about someone who gets along so well with their spouse. Congratulations.

    Love,
    Jocelyn

  6. Sherry,
Congratulations on your new domicile and especially on the increase in acceptance from your wife. That’s paramount. Maybe, it was the casual look.
