Nothing brings me greater joy than….making Sherry Christmas images! This might be my very favorite one.
We kid because we love.
The annual tradition continues, having done so in 2022 and 2023, you can read about years past by clicking the links.
December 19, 2024 a somewhat smaller gathering than last year. I am sure someone won’t agree with me, but the changing faces are all about the fragility of not being ourselves full time, although I do seem to bring new faces annually. That’s okay, it makes life interesting and I do adore those that joined us this year, as well as those who did so in the past. Friends are to be cherished and not taken for granted. I believe last year’s big crowd was a wonderful anomaly, probably won’t happen again
There were ten of us and it was a delightful three hours! No great big story, just (mostly) a number of ladies sitting around and talking, some getting to know each other, spinning tales, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Thanks for herding the cats, Sherry! You have the patience of Job (Google it).
This outfit literally came to me in a dream or at least a dream state. I wanted to somehow wear the mink vest and once I made that decision, everything fell right in place!
This is a bigger and bigger lift each and every year. It killed (for me) putting together gatherings at all. I have grown to distain doing this in any capacity. People in general do not think about what goes into herding the cats. Sher, I will support you as best as I am able, I will support you to the extent of my patience, you will always be the BFF, but this is your gig. Bless you for doing so.
Will the enigma share her journey with us? We can only hope…

Also on this day was the release of the Superman trailer and it is MF’n spectacular! If you go to 0:20 of the trailer, you will see one of the two scenes I am in (no, you cannot see me here, but maybe in the full feature film). There are so many scenes shot in Cleveland that made the trailer. I am very far from a superhero movie fan, but I got chills when I saw this. Pride for my beloved hometown and pride for actually being in the film! I cannot explain how awesome it is to be on a set and watch the sausage being made, so to speak, and then seeing the finished product. Enjoy…
