May 12, 2022, temps in the upper 80’s, so what’s a girl to do? Go to the beach, of course!
I won’t lie, there simply is nothing better than walking the length of the beach, barely drawing any attention. That means, no one is “reading” me.
Probably within a minute, a lovely young lady said “love your swimsuit, hon!” (she, of course, read me). I hung around for an hour or so, then packed up, threw my stuff in the car and walked around Edgewater Park. There another young lady complimented me on my hair!
I stopped at a local watering hole and had a cold one and then did some grocery shopping in the t-shirt and shorts you see below before heading home.
It was a lovely day, to be followed by an eventful and challenging few days. More on that later.

These are, I believe, the final photos I will get from Keystone and they are the most meaningful. Nora is my big sister in more ways than one. She is a friend, confidant, as well as a gracious example of the type of woman I can only hope to aspire to be. You make all of “this” seem so natural, so normal, so right. Thank you……

And here is the staff photo for The Cleveland International Film Festival and you should have no problem spotting yours truly!

I have to tell you that having the confidence you have to go to the beach en fem is so amazing
I doubt I will ever get there. Part of it for me is my body just doesn’t look great in a swim suit and a few other reasons
But I so admire you my friend and you look so very nice doing so
Rachael
For me, confidence is confidence and I know what I can get away with and what I should avoid.
Thanks so much, Rach!!
All those marathon and traing miles definitely pay off. You look amazing in swimwear … as always!!
I certainly appreciate that!
