WANT THE BEST 2025 EVER? DO THIS…

I’m sitting in the Las Vegas airport wanting for my flight home. It’s December 1st and 2025 is approaching. I’m deciding what my focus is going to be for next year and I thought I’d let you know my process.

Two of my favorite authors are Napoleon Hill and Wallace D. Wattles. As we enter the final stretch of the year, many of us are looking for ways to set ourselves up for the best possible 2025. Drawing inspiration from the timeless insights of Napoleon Hill and Wallace Wattles, let’s explore how we can use December (now January) not just as a month of reflection, but as a powerful launchpad into the new year.

Setting Clear Goals

First, let’s talk about the wisdom of Napoleon Hill. In his classic work “Think and Grow Rich,” Hill emphasizes the importance of having a definitive purpose.

Think about what you truly want to accomplish in 2025. Is it a career change, personal growth, or maybe starting a new business? Use this month to get crystal clear on those goals. Creating a vision board can be a fun and visual way to map out your dreams.

Surround Yourself with the Right People

Hill also highlights the significance of a mastermind alliance. This isn’t just about networking; it’s about surrounding yourself with people who challenge and uplift you.

Consider joining a group or community where you can share ideas and tap into collective wisdom. This support can be incredibly motivating as you work toward your 2025 goals.

Continuous Learning

Both Hill and Wallace Wattles talk about the importance of continuous learning. December is a great time to assess your skills and identify areas for improvement. Are there new skills you need to acquire? Maybe it’s time to finally take that online course or read those books you’ve been putting off.

Adopt a Positive Mindset

Wattles, in “The Science of Getting Rich,” emphasizes the power of constructive thinking. How we perceive our challenges greatly influences our ability to address them. This month, focus on cultivating a positive mindset.

Engage in practices like meditation or affirmations to stay centered and open to opportunities as you transition into the new year.

Take Creative Actions

Let’s not forget Wattles’ advice on taking proactive, creative actions toward your goals. What can you start doing now to gain momentum? Perhaps there’s a small, manageable project you can dive into or volunteer work that aligns with your future aspirations.

These actions can create a ripple effect, opening doors to more significant opportunities.

Planning and Reflecting

Lastly, combine Hill and Wattles’ insights by creating a blend of reflection and forward-thinking strategies. Look back on what you’ve achieved and what hasn’t gone as planned.

Use these insights to help you form a solid plan, with clear, actionable steps for 2025.

By integrating these principles, December (now January) becomes more than just the end of another year. It transforms into a strategic period of preparation, setting you up with the clarity, skills, and resilience needed to make 2025 your best year yet.

So, as you sip your holiday drinks and cozy up by the fire, remember – this is the time to dream big and plan smart.

  1. Gwen,
My first hurdle to is to recover my thoughts through the Xmas period , it’s not a good time for me , being transgender means a fragmented family . I see them but not how I wish to see them or how they see me , will it ever change and if not can I make it change ? At times the media don’t realise that not everyone can have the Xmas of their dreams and creations , for some it’s full of sorrow and pain .
I often joke that Xmas comes at the wrong time of the year because the cold dark months of January and February follow , the best laid plans never quite happen . While some may not agree I would love to spring clean after Xmas to freshen the house up , I find it a simple pleasure to wash bedding and towels and dry them out in the sunshine and then bring that freshness into the house when they’re dry . I love my garden , again a few sunny spring days are enough to wake the garden up and welcome spring .

Life is often about simple pleasures , it’s not always about complex plans or spending quantities of money to achieve them , richness can be had in simple ways .
