When Kandi and I were together on Saturday evening we discussed getting together for Sunday morning or afternoon. Kandi said “Anyway You Want It” and we decided she would take me to Cleveland’s famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I was there decades ago, but I assume there have been new inductees since the nineties. I was thrilled to “Bits And Pieces” that Kandi was going to show me around her favourite place.
Sunday was an absolutely horrible weather day; snow, cold and wind. “Because” of this, my attire was subdued and drab. Of course Kandi looked great in semi tight slacks and 3” heeled boots. I barely stayed upright wearing running shoes.
Kandi drove us downtown to The Hall. “Can’t You See That She’s Mine” driver. She is very focused and we arrived safely.
As we ran past security at the front door we said “Catch Us If You Can”. Not really!
Hours were spent looking at the displays and enjoying each other’s company; “I Like It Like That”. We finished the tour by watching a documentary movie about The Hall’s inductees. Prince and his guitar were the fabulous conclusion.
“Having A Wild Weekend” is the way I’d describe my time with Kandi. And “Everybody Knows” I adore my girl time with Kandi.
I was “Glad All Over”.
Love,
Jocelyn
PS – in case you don’t now realize it, my favourite Rock Group is the Dave Clark 5, who were inducted into The Hall in 2008. Kandi’s friend Tom Hanks was the person who Inducted the DC5.
PPS – I’m also not sure why my hair was blown all over, and Kandi’s hair was looking great????
