Hello everyone and Happy Holidays!
I know it’s been a while since I last entered a post! I’ve certainly been out, and I know Kandi has documented some of these but there’s certainly been a few other outings. I felt compelled to write about my “A Very Sherry Christmas” party since I hosted it (with Kandi’s help).
This is the 6-7th time we had this and this was the best attended one yet! The event took place on December 22nd and between the two of us we invited around 40 people and 28 came! The party took place this year at Luxe Kitchen in Gordon Square for those familiar with the Cleveland area. The old venue closed down so I had to find another place and Kandi suggested Luxe and it couldn’t have been better!
As you can see from the group picture it was a diverse group, and we couldn’t have had a more wonderful time. There was constant conversation, and we even had a White Elephant gift exchange! Dinner was wonderful and the few drinks I had didn’t hurt either 🍻. Everything lasted about 3 ½ hours and a few of us even went out after for one more cocktail!
The biggest take away I got from the evening was how easy it is for others to show love. Yes, it is the holidays, so people are definitely in a happier and more forgiving mood but the warmth and spirit I left with filled my soul with happiness 🤗. I know Kandi will write about this evening (this past Monday) and I’m sure she will concur.
