It is time for my absolute, no question, most favorite night on the calendar! But before we get to that, the day prior, September 5, 2025, I had a virtual audition, or at least I thought so. It ended up being a mass casting call and seemed like a bit of a marketing push/cash grab, with no real payoff, so I punted on it. I was now dressed very early before I had to head out to the art museum, so we did a fun little photo shoot! Here we go!
On September 6, 2025, I worked a large civic event (for actual pay!), eight hours (as myself). This required me to prepare everything, pack the car, go to work, then head over to Cleveland Public Theater where I turned into Cinderella. I left home before 7:30AM and did not return until almost 1:00AM the following morning. I then worked my second job for pay this day; house manager for one of the many performance stages. I’ve worked the same stage (a converted church) for years and many, many people remember me. BFF, AKA Sherry, was there as a volunteer, always wonderful.
My face hurt from smiling so much! Compliment after compliment. Kindness after kindness (this is a VERY accepting crowd) and then after my shift ended, glass of wine after glass of wine. I saw quite a few people that I truly love, they go beyond simple friendship. Plus, I got to spend a lot of time with Sher. Now, I will end the story right there because this was a “whatever happens at Pandemonium, stays at Pandemonium” circumstance. I did nothing I would ever regret, but the dance floor, shall we say, got very friendly…
This photoshoot was pre-show, with a great deal of time and the run of the event space.

Kandi, the Pandemonium dress is great, I love the pattern hose you are wearing. It’s wonderful to see Sherry too. Your continued presence at these events is obviously appreciated, given the reception from the attendees. That would be so meaningful to me as well, to be sought out and celebrated for such devotion.
