More Ramping

I recently spoke of ramping it back up. This is days three and four of another four in five-day Kandi run. May 9, 2025, was a different sort of day. I had an eye appointment in the afternoon and was then meeting with Chynna for dinner. To make it all work, I had to be shaved and showered prior to my appointment. Everything also had to be set up for my return home. As I began getting ready, I enjoyed a THC cocktail while getting shaved, etc.

That really mellowed me out and as have mentioned, all inhibitions melted away. I was going to go the eye doctor underdressed. I also wanted to try on my dress for the evening to make the proper bra selection. I was so pleased with the result; I then decided to go to the doctor with the girls still in place. One thing led to another and before I knew it, I was in essentially a tennis outfit, little skirt, cute polo, sneakers, light makeup and earrings and jewelry. But my own hair. I walked in and felt fantastic! The wonderful receptionist asked if it was okay to refer to me by my given name (it was) and if I wanted my gender marker changed to female. I declined because then I would have to always go there dressed and sometimes it may not be convenient to do so. My attire was a complete nonissue, and I was so happy to have taken that chance.

Love, love, loved my dress and overall outfit. The dress itself was very flattering, the cute little denim jacket, wedges, the right glasses and the perfect complements with the jewelry. Chy and I had a delightful dinner, again chatting and sharing with ease. We had a great table in a crowded Italian restaurant. Afterward, we went to what I can best describe as an antique, craft, thrift, art store combined with live music and adult beverages. Chy is a professional antique dealer, and she was impressed with the place. It was just straight up a delightful evening and an eventful afternoon. Going dressed as I did to the doctor was very vulnerable to have done and it just felt right.

Thank you for your friendship, Chy!

The very simplest of outings, May 11, 2025, I went to church. I gush frequently about how well I am treated there, and this was no exception. Yes, I did look very nice, and it was noticed. I also got to sit with a dear friend and many of the other ladies that tend to sit together. Having people naturally refer me to she is always a plus. On the way home I hit a Target, bought a few ADORBS dresses and headed home to work in the yard. Just a lovely day, well spent.

  1. Kandi, the red-and-black dress is gorgeous! I love that style and the illusion that the color blocking gives of a feminine figure. Your pink floral maxi is so cute for the dinner with your friend.

The story of your doctor visit resonated strongly with me, as I explained in my last post. I wasn’t ready to take that step of going fully dressed, but I can see myself doing that at some point in the future. Good to know how the staff will react (no issues)!

  2. Kandi,
As I remarked to Tina in her post it’s great despite the current situation that the medical profession are still so supportive .
I admit I’m not into maxi dresses and skirts but your combination works so well as I have a couple of denim jackets .

  3. Kandi,
    Nice dresses.
THC effects the eye pressure, so its wise not to use before an eye appointment. I have glaucoma and my eye pressure is very bad if I don’t inhale before a visit and great if I do. And the eye drops I use side effects are long lashes and eye brows.

BTW my ophthalmologist, as well as my dermatologist, always compliment me on my nails, in the top 5 they say they see.
