Every day, we stand at a crossroads, faced with choices that define who we are and who we will become.
Inside each of us, a battle rages between two versions of ourselves. One embodies positivity, abundancy, gratitude, courage, and compassion. The other thrives on negativity, fear, and self-doubt.
A wise elder once shared with a curious child when asked which version wins, “The version of yourself that wins this battle is the one you choose to feed.”
In our own lives, the thoughts we embrace become the path we walk. This is why social media is so pervasive and threatening to our psyche. The algorithm feeds the battle within only whay THEY think we want to see, and the flow soon becomes an avalanche of only one type of information. It grows roots, puts up walls, and tells us untruths to stay in power, no matter what. It’s called unconscious bias.
When we dwell on negativity, we fuel that darker side. But when we nourish our mind and spirit with positivity and hope, we empower the brighter side to take the lead.
🧠✨ Think about it: What thoughts are you feeding today? What kind of person do you want to become?
Remember, we are what we consistently think about. By choosing which version of yourself to nurture, you shape your own destiny.
Choose wisely, feed the light within. 🌟

Gwen,
This is why I’ve never embraced social media , if a person has something to say good or bad say it to my face ! I can deal with that because I will get a reaction , that way I get to know good friends and people it’s best to avoid . Also as a transgender person people can directly relate to me , if they have true or false fears they can deal with them in reality .
That is not to say all social media is bad ( take Kandi’s Land for example ) but so many hide behind their keyboards , faceless , anonymous to throw abuse at who they choose and remain untouchable .
The majority of my ideas come from reality , I love real contact with people . If we consider when we suffer from negative thoughts it’s usually through Emails or other online services . Real fears can be faced and dealt with so we can move on , cyberspace can leave fears festering without an easy way to deal with them even when you switch the device off .
