The Simple Things

By Rachael L.

Many here have likely seen my comments on this blog for many years, I’ve learned much from our friend Kandi, so I just wanted to share with you my simple things I do to be myself in our tgirl world

Almost every Wednesday I put together and outfit to go grocery shopping, in summer I usefully opt for shorts or skirts or as you see in my pictures the occasional sun dress

In winter, which we don’t get much here like Kandi gets up north, I go for leggings and maybe a sweater

I’ve always felt my best way to blend in is dress as most women do these days

Not to flashy but just comfortable

Much like Kandi says I fool nobody but I’m me.

I don’t go many other places fully enfem unless I just want to go do some girl shopping, but I have to say Amazon has made it easier to find clothes

I usual go enfem for my makeup shopping and always treated kindly at my go to store Ulta

For all the ladies out there, it really is simple to just be you, find a place to go and just enjoy being out there.

But as Kandi’s motto says: Be smart and be appropriate.

Love you guys, Rachael

Just a few pictures of my grocery shopping outfits.

  1. Rachael,
A great post and thank you for sharing a part of your life.

I love the outfits. You clearly look like the woman you are.

You fully pass, in my opinion.

    You look wonderful.

  2. Rachael, I loved your story 💕. The way you describe the simplicity of everyday life shows that living this part of ourselves doesn’t have to be grand or flashy—it just needs to be authentic and comfortable, just like you do. It’s inspiring to see how you’ve found your own rhythm, respecting your limits while still allowing yourself moments of joy.

    1. Thank you Tammilee, yes I did find a way to just be me, once I knew transition for me just wasn’t what I needed I still wanted to find a way to express my feminine self

          1. Rachel, I have never purchased any of my Femme clothing online. I 1st went out enfemme in 1977 or 8. I bought my first dress in a thrift shop. I bought a dress once through a Sears catalog and picked it up at the store. I like shopping and trying on things. We all have different tastes and situations.
