Two days of this is enough….
November 15, 2024 was a full day. Up early (not by choice, by age, I have to pay the water bill, as it were). Workout and breakfast. A Zoom, email cleanup. Seeing friends. Getting ready (one more close shave and I won’t have a face anymore). Lunch with a few other friends. Sherry’s arrival. Drinks (a common theme, why two days is enough).
I generally set up a dinner for friends on Friday in Erie. It is usually at Oliver’s Roof Top restaurant, overlooking the Erie Bayfront. Great place and even greater service. Jo and “The Comet” (Hailey, when introducing herself said “like Hailey’s Comet” so henceforth she was The Comet). We had fifteen ladies, look at all those happy faces above! The spec in the back is yours truly, The Hostess with the Mostess.
The Motley crew I hung with, my roomies Sher and Debbie. Love you both!
Wash, rinse and repeat (the great friends part of this is why I do this). Eat…eat…drink…eat and drink…drink. Meet new friends, reacquaint with old ones, and I do try to let people know that I value them (like my validation means a damn thing).
We’re all in this together, so we may as well love, support and have some fun!
