Attack of the Spokesmodel

This was a fun photoshoot! Enjoy.

During the move from the old site to the new one, I created the character of our spokes model to use in posts discussing the move. These were all taken in an hour or so selfie photo shoot. Since life is keeping Kandi idling a bit on the sidelines, here are a few highlights of this shoot.

Little story: This past Monday, I was working with about an hour to kill between pick ups. Being at work, I was grubby, three day growth, sweaty, t-shirt, dirty jeans, work boots and a ball cap. I went and walked the mall, with a stop at the Dillard’s lingerie department. Both of my friends, Janet and Amy were working. We chatted a bit, I browsed for clearance items. A few customers made their purchases. Janet showed me the dress Amy was contemplating purchasing for her daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner, a beautiful Calvin Klein royal blue dress. We talked about it and its merits, but Amy thought it might be too big around her arms (she is slight). So she tried it on for Janet and I. It fit very well and she was quite lovely! I offered constructive criticism and pointed out how well it fit, with specific suggestions regarding shoes and accessories. She was so happy she had tried it on for us and I thanked them both for including me in that moment. And for me, it was indeed a moment. I was simply one of the girls, in my mind and in reality and it was special!

  1. It’s really cool you have such a nice friendship with those ladies and how they accept you no matter your manor of dress.
    Very special indeed
I also noticed all that snow in your background of your pictures glad we are past that weather after the mess we had here in Texas in Feb.

    1. I could not agree more! Yeah, those pictures were taken a few months back, although we did get some snow earlier this month!

  2. Kandi,
I take it that you are dressing for the job you want?
    You certainly look the part.
    Best Wishes,
    Penny from Edinburgh.

If you have been looking for an economical permanent hair removal solution, I cannot recommend this highly enough! It costs less than a single session at a laser hair removal place. It is almost completely painless and it actually works! I have been on an eight year quest for something like this!
